Procedure:

Each group with be assigned a different chapter: 7, 8 , 10, 11, 12

Each group member will select a different role:

1.      Graphic Organizer (2 students)

a.      Use Inspiration to create a graphic organizer to highlight the main points in the chapter

2.      PowerPoint (2 students)

a.      Review the main points in the chapter with graphics and links

3.      Photostory (2 students)

a.      Each group will take one of the social classes of Egypt from chapter 9 and write a journal entry of the day of the life of that person

4.      Google Earth/Voicethread (Extra Credit)

a.      Show important locations of the area – make a tour (ch 7 & 8)

b.      Find and upload a picture to Voicethread and discuss its significance in the chapter
