Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-16.10(c)4, the Galloway Board of Education certifies that as of July 31, 2015 after review of the secretary's monthly financial reports (appropriations section) and upon consultation with the appropriate district officials, that to the best of our knowledge, no major account or fund has been over expended in violation of N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-16.10(b) and there have been no changes in anticipated revenue sources and/or amounts so that sufficient funds are available to meet the district's financial obligations for the remainder of the fiscal year.

Project Update:

Update: Job site meetings held on July 30th and August 18th for the replacement of Arthur Rann and Smithville Elementary School fire alarms.

G. COMMUNITY USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES

The Superintendent recommends approval of the following:

  1. Galloway PAL Executive Committee requests the use of the library at GTMS for meetings on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm.

  2. Boy Scouts of America Cub Pack 634 requests the use of the cafeteria at Reeds Road School for meetings on Tuesdays beginning September 8, 2015 through June 7, 2016 from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm.

  3. East Coast Crush Volleyball Boys & Girls traveling team requests the use of the gym at GTMS for practices Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays September 14, 2015 through April 29, 2016 at 5:30 pm. (majority of players Galloway residents; shared gym schedule through winter with PAL)

  4. East Coast Crush Volleyball requests the use of GTMS gym on the following Saturday dates for try-outs from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm. *responsible for custodial coverage cost (majority of players are Galloway residents)

  1. Resolution to accept, with regret, the letter of intent to retire from Sheila Daugherty, Library Media Specialist at GTMS, effective July 31, 2015. Mrs. Daugherty has worked in the Galloway Township Public School District for 11 years and her dedication and service to students and staff are appreciated by our entire school family.
