BUDGET SUBMISSION
BE IT RESOLVED to approve the proposed school district budget for the 2019-2020 School Year for submission to the Executive County Superintendent of Schools as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to acknowledge that the 2019-2020 budget as described above results in a general fund tax levy of $33,208,335 and a debt service fund tax levy of $127,504.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-7.3, budgeted travel expenses do not exceed $50,000.

Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-5.2(a), maximum dollar amounts for public relations and professional services have been established and are detailed in the appropriations section of the 2019-2020 budget.

The Superintendent recommends approval of the following resolutions:
1. Resolution to approve Home Instruction for the following student:

4. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-16.10(c)4, the Galloway Board of Education certifies that as of February 28, 2019 after review of the secretary's monthly financial reports (appropriations section) and upon consultation with the appropriate district officials, that to the best of our knowledge, no major account or fund has been over expended in violation of N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-16.10(b) and
there have been no changes in anticipated revenue sources and/or amounts so that sufficient funds are available to meet the district's financial obligations for the remainder of the fiscal year.

5. Resolution to approve the Cash and Secretary's Report for the month of February 28,2019 (Attachment E.7)

6. Resolution to approve the February transfers for the 2018-2019 Budget (Attachment E.8)

7. Resolution to approve the March 2019 Bills List in the amount of $2,194,860.99 (Attachment E.9)

8. Resolution to approve acceptance of the re-allocated 2018-2019 Title I Funds Grant, in the amount of $24,256 for GTMS and $22,144 for Smithville Elementary School.

The Superintendent recommends approval of the following resolution for the formal Board action, as recommended by Joy Nixon, School Business Administrator:

The Superintendent recommends approval of the following resolutions:

1. Resolution to accept, with regret, the letter of intent to retire from Michael Marano, teacher at Roland Rogers Elementary School, effective June 30, 2019. Mr. Marano has worked in the Galloway Township Public School District for 30 years and his dedication and service to students and staff are appreciated by our entire school family.

2. Resolution to accept, with regret, the letter of intent to retire from Yolanda C. Espejo, teacher at Roland Rogers Elementary School, effective June 30, 2019. Ms. Espejo has worked in the Galloway Township Public School District for 16 years and her dedication and service to students and staff are appreciated by our entire school family.

3. Resolution to approve Kevin Lightcap as the Principal at Reeds Road Elementary School for the 2019 - 2020 school year effective July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020. Salary: $109,621.00; Degree: MA; Account #11-000-240-1 03-45-SA (replacement position)

4. Resolution to accept the letter of resignation from Bobbie Gunnels, food service worker at Galloway Township Middle School, effective March 29, 2019.
