APPROVAL OF BUDGET

BE IT RESOLVED to approve the school district budget for the 2019-2020 School Year as approved by the Executive County Superintendent of Schools as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to acknowledge that the 2019-2020 budget as described above results in a general fund tax levy of $33,208,335 and a debt service fund tax levy of $127,504.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-7.3, budgeted travel expenses do not exceed $50,000. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-5.2(a), maximum dollar amounts for public relations and professional services have been established and are detailed in the appropriations section of the 2019-2020 budget.

the remainder of the fiscal year.

F. FACILITIES AND MAINTENANCE
. Information Item:
First job conference for Arthur Rann Elementary School and Pomona Preschool New Generators is scheduled for Wednesday, May 1,2019 at 1:30 pm.

The Superintendent recommends approval of the following resolutions for the formal Board action, as recommended by Joy Nixon, School Business Administrator:
1. WHEREAS, the Galloway School District is the owner of certain surplus property which is no longer needed for public use; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Education is desirous of selling said surplus property in an "as is" condition without express or implied warranties.
NOW THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED by the Board of Education in the Township of Galloway, County of Atlantic, as follows:
(1) The sale of the surplus property shall be conducted through GovDeals pursuant to State Contract A-834531T2581 in accordance with the terms and conditions of the State Contract. The terms and conditions of the agreement entered into with GovDeals is available online at govdeals.com and also available from the Galloway Township Board of Education.
(2) The sale will be conducted online and the address of the auction site is govdeals.com.
(3) The sale is being conducted pursuant to Local Finance Notice 2008-9.
(4) A list of the surplus property to be sold is as follows: - Tennant 5400 Auto Scrubber (M#: M5400/S#: 5400-10016119)
(5) The surplus property as identified shall be sold in an "as-is" condition without express or implied warranties with the successful bidder required to execute a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement concerning use of said surplus property.
(6) The Galloway Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any bid submitted.

G. COMMUNITY USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES
The Superintendent recommends approval of the following resolution:

1. Boy Scouts of America requests the use of the cafeteria at Reeds Road Elementary School to host a Cub Scout Recruitment Event on Monday, May 13, 2019, 7:00 pm 9:00 pm.
