BUDGET SUBMISSION
BE IT RESOLVED
to approve the proposed school district budget for the 2018-2019 School Year for submission to the Executive County Superintendent of Schools as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to acknowledge that the 2018-2019 bUdget as described above results in a general fund tax levy of $ 32,557,191 and a debt service fund tax levy of $132,398.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-7.3, budgeted travel expenses do not exceed $50,000.
Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-5.2(a), maximum dollar amounts for public relations and professional services have been established and are detailed in the appropriations section of the 2018-2019 budget.

C. SUPERINTENDENT'S REPORT
1. Resolution to approve the 2017-2018 revised school calendar (Second Reading with revisions due to additional inclement weather days) (Attachment C.1)

2. Resolution to accept the Investment Report(s) for February 2018 in accordance with Policy #3290 (Attachment E.5)
3. Resolution to accept the Board Secretary's monthly certification budgetary line item status for February 28, 2018 (Attachment E.6)
4. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-16.1 0(c)4, the Galloway Board of Education certifies that as of February 28, 2018 after review of the secretary's monthly financial reports (appropriations section) and upon consultation with the appropriate district officials, that to the best of our knowledge, no major account or fund has been over expended in violation of N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-16.1 O(b) and there have been no changes in anticipated revenue sources and/or amounts so that sufficient funds are available to meet the district's financial obligations for the remainder of the fiscal year.

8. Resolution to accept the Hess Corporation and Baylor College of Medicine STEM Educational Outreach Grant for Smithville Elementary School to receive a 2017 STEM Kit.
9. Resolution to accept $800.00 from the ELKS of Galloway Grant to be used for the FUN Club at GTMS.
10. Resolution to approve the revised estimated costs per pupil for tuition purposes for Atlantic County Special Services School District for the 2018-2019 school year for the following category:
Class Placement:One-to-One Aides
Estimated Tuition Rate: $ 42,840
11. Resolution to approve the School Food Authorities Consolidation of School Nutrition Programs Agreement between Galloway Township Public Schools and the Atlantic Community Charter School for the 2018 - 2019 school year. (Attachment E.1 0)
12. Resolution to approve the School Food Authorities Consolidation of School Nutrition Programs Agreement between Galloway Township Public Schools and the Port Republic School District for the 2018 - 2019 school year. (Attachment E.11)
13. Resolution to approve the food service administrative fee contract between Galloway Township Public Schools and the Port Republic School District for the 2018 2019 school year beginning July 1, 2018-June 30, 2019 for an administrative fee of $15,000 ($1,250 per month for 12 months). (Attachment E.12)
14. Resolution to approve the food service administrative fee contract between Galloway Township Public Schools and the Atlantic Community Charter School for the 2018 - 2019 school year beginning July 1, 2018-June 30, 2019 for an administrative fee of $15,000 ($1,250 per month for 12 months). G. COMMUNITY USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES
The Superintendent recommends approval of the following:

1. Mainland Baptist Church requests the use of the gym at Arthur Rann Elementary School for Gym Games on Wednesday evenings beginning April 4, 2018 through June 20, 2018, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm.

H. PERSONNEL
The Superintendent recommends approval of the following resolutions:

1. Resolution to accept, with regret, the letter of intent to retire from Kandi Hayden, guidance counselor at Reeds Road Elementary School, effective June 30, 2018. Mrs. Hayden has worked in the Galloway Township Public School District for 25 years and her dedication and service to students and staff are appreciated by our entire school family.
2. Resolution to approve the following substitute teacher for the 2017-2018 school year, effective March 24, 2018 through June 30, 2018, pending successful completion of the criminal history review; Certified Rate: $95.00 per day; Non-Certified Rate: $85.00 per day; Account numbers as appropriate: Kindergarten #11-110-100-1 01-000-SB;Grades 1-5 #11-120-100-1 01-000-SB Grades 6-8 #11-130-100-1 01-000-SB Grace Lugo $85.00 non-certified
