E. FINANCE AND SCHOOL OPERATIONS
The Superintendent recommends approval of the following resolutions for formal Board action, as recommended by Joy Nixon, School Business Administrator, and the Finance Committee:

1. Resolution to accept the following food service reports:
Cafeteria: Profit and Loss Statement for August 2016.

2. Resolution to accept the Investment Report(s) for August 2016 in accordance with Policy #3290. (Attachment E.3)

3. Resolution to accept the Board Secretary's monthly certification budgetary line item status for August 31,2016. (Attachment E.4)

4. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-16.10(c)4, the Galloway Board of Education certifies that as of August 31,2016 after review of the secretary's monthly financial reports (appropriations section) and upon consultation with the appropriate district officials, that to the best of our knowledge, no major account or fund has been over expended in violation of N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-16.10(b) and there have been no changes in anticipated revenue sources and/or amounts so that sufficient funds are available to meet the district's financial obligations for the remainder of the fiscal year.

8. Resolution to approve the withdrawal from the maintenance reserve account and transfer into the appropriate maintenance account #11-000-261-420-48-00.
WHEREAS N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-14.2 permits a Board of Education, by resolution, to withdraw such funds from the maintenance reserve account and appropriate into the required maintenance account lines at budget time or anytime during the year for use on required maintenance activities for a school facility; and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned code authorizes the Board of Education to apply such funds to repair the fire pump at Smithville Elementary School; and
WHEREAS, the Galloway Township Board of Education has determined that $23,000 is available for such transfer;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Galloway Township Board of Education that it hereby authorizes the district's School Business Administrator to make this transfer to the required maintenance lines consistent with all applicable laws and regulations.

9. The Superintendent recommends approval of the following:

1. Stockton University requests the use of a Pomona Preschool classroom on Thursdays beginning September 15, 2016 through December 22, 2016 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. (Administrative approval granted)

2. Cub Scout Pack #12 Den #3 requests the use of the cafeteria at Smithville Elementary School on Wednesday evenings beginning October 5,2016 through May 17,2017 from 6:45 pm -8:15 pm.

3. Girl Scout Council of South Jersey requests the use of the cafeteria at Roland Rogers Elementary School to host a Girl Scout Open House Recruitment Night on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm.

4. Mainland Baptist Church requests the use of the gym at Reeds Road Elementary School on Wednesday evenings to host gym games beginning September 28, 2016 through November 30,2016 from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm.

5. South Jersey Wind Ensemble requests the use of the band room at GTMS for an evening rehearsal on Monday, October 3, 2016 from 6:30 pm -9:30 pm.
