BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to acknowledge that the 2015-2016 budget as described above results in a general fund tax levy of $30,606,570 and a debt service fund tax levy of $859,841.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-7.3, budgeted travel expenses do not exceed $50,000.
Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-5.2(a), maximum dollar amounts for public relations and professional services have been established and are detailed in the appropriations section of the 2015-2016 budget.

The Superintendent recommends approval of the following resolutions for formal Board action, as recommended by Timothy Kelley, School Business Administrator and the Finance Committee:

4. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-16.10(c)4, the Galloway Board of Education certifies that as of March 31, 2015 after review of the secretary's monthly financial reports (appropriations section) and upon consultation with the appropriate district officials, that to the best of our knowledge, no major account or fund has been over expended in violation of N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-16.10(b) and there have been no changes in anticipated revenue sources and/or amounts so that sufficient funds are available to meet the district's financial obligations for the remainder of the fiscal year.

F. FACILITIES AND MAINTENANCE
Informational Item:
The advertisement was placed for Fire Alarm Replacements at the Arthur Rann and Smithville Elementary Schools. The pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 30, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Smithville School. The bid opening is scheduled for May 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the administrative conference room.

G. COMMUNITY USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES
Informational Items:

  1. Reeds Road Elementary School FSA is hosting a "Super Hero Carnival" in the cafeteria and gym on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
  2. Smithville Elementary School is hosting a "Bingo and Basket Night" on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

H. PERSONNEL
The Superintendent recommends approval of the following resolutions:

  1. Resolution to accept, with regret, the letter of intent to retire from Beth Massey, district courier, effective July 1, 2015. Mrs. Massey has worked in the Galloway Township Public School District for 8 years and her dedication and service to students and staff are appreciated by our entire school family.
