Our curriculum is based upon the New Jersey Common Core Curriculum Content Standards, as well as national subject matter standards and the expertise of our professional staff. Our teachers employ a variety of instructional strategies that reflect best practices research, middle level philosophy, learners’ needs, and the teachers’ own experience.

Homework is an important component of a child’s education allowing for practice and application of learning. While there are occasions when homework levels vary, a 60-90 minute daily guideline is utilized. Homework is usually given Monday through Thursday. The amount may vary by subject and grade level. Attention to ongoing assignments (i.e. reading logs) and long term projects is needed. Parent/guardian monitoring of homework is strongly encouraged.
