Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6:20-2.13(e), the Galloway Board of Education certifies that as of April 30, 2014 after review of the secretary's monthly financial reports (appropriations section) and upon consultation with the appropriate district officials, that to the best of our knowledge, no major account or fund has been over expended in violation of N.J.A.C. 6:20-2.13(b) and there have been no changes in anticipated revenue sources and/or amounts so that sufficient funds are available to meet the district's financial obligations for the remainder of the fiscal year.

9. Resolution to approve Alliance for Competitive Energy Services (ACES) to award Hess Energy Marketing to provide natural gas to Galloway Township Public Schools beginning June 2014 for a 7-month term. (Attachment E.10)

G. COMMUNITY USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES
The Superintendent recommends approval of the following:

  1. The Atlantic United Soccer Club has requested the use of the GTMS library for their monthly meeting on the fourth Tuesday of each month beginning May 27, 2014 through June 30, 2015 from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm.
  2. The American Red Cross has requested the use of the Smithville School gymnasium on Saturday, May 31, 2014 from 7:30 am until 3:30 pm for a blood drive.
    (Custodial fee of 1 ½ times the prevailing hourly rate is applicable)
  3. Boy Scout Troop 77 has requested the use of the GTMS cafeteria for an Eagle Scout Court of Honor from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday, June 26, 2014.
  4. East Coast Crush Volleyball has requested the use of the GTMS gymnasium on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm beginning June 18, 2014 through July 30, 2014 for games and practices.
  5. The Miss Teen Galloway Committee has requested the use of the GTMS cafeteria and stage area on Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 10:00 am until 3:30 pm for an Arts Empowerment Workshop.

H. PERSONNEL
The Superintendent recommends approval of the following resolutions:

  1. Resolution to accept the letter of intent to retire from Marguerite Hofmann, food service manager at Reeds Road Elementary School, with regret, effective November 1, 2014.
    Ms. Hofmann has worked in the Galloway Township Public School District for 25 years and her dedication and commitment to students and staff are appreciated by our entire school family.
