Please be advised that at approximately 9:00am this morning a parent at the Reeds Road School called 911 as they smelled natural gas while outside of the school. Out of an abundance of caution the fire department and SJ Gas Company responded to the Reeds Road School to assess the situation. They confirmed that the natural gas smell was due to a line that was cut on the site of new construction occurring at the intersection of Jimmie Leeds Road and Great Creek Road. The Reeds Road School was cleared to continue with their normal daily operations.

It is an early dismissal day - school ends @ 1:30PM at all locations.
